Orbit1 is a relationship and growth tool for independent distributors. It holds notes about the people you work with, so we treat that information as private by default and collect as little as the product can function on.
Your account. Email address, display name and — if you sign in with Google — your profile photo.
What you put in. The contacts you add, the notes and conversations you record, follow-ups, events and your position in a team. This is yours; we do not sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising.
Operational records. Sign-in times, error reports and AI usage counts, so we can keep the service running and bill fairly.
If you choose to import contacts, Orbit1 requests the contacts.readonly scope. This is the narrowest scope that allows reading a contact list; there is no read-only scope limited to a subset.
We ask only when you ask. The permission is requested at the moment you click to import — never during sign-up.
We keep only what you tick. Your contacts are shown in a picker. Only the people you explicitly select are saved, and only their name, email address, phone number and photo. Everyone else is discarded when you leave the page and is never written to our database.
Read-only, always. We never create, change or delete anything in your Google account.
The access is temporary. The Google access token is short-lived and is not stored by us. When it expires you simply reconnect. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Limited Use. Orbit1's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, we do not transfer or sell Google user data for advertising, and we do not use it to develop, improve or train generalised artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Orbit1 uses AI to turn what you capture into structured notes, to summarise a relationship, and to draft messages you then edit and send yourself. Nothing is sent automatically on your behalf.
When you use one of those features, the relevant details — the note you wrote, and that contact's name and summary — are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce the result. We send the minimum the task needs, not your whole database. Our provider does not use data submitted through their API to train their models, and neither do we.
We use a small number of service providers to run Orbit1. They process data on our instructions only:
Your contacts and notes are yours. Teammates and people above you in your organisation cannot read them. What they can see is your position in the team, your rank, and aggregate counts such as how many conversations were logged.
Your own contact details are shared only with the audiences you pick in Settings. The default is your direct sponsor and nobody else.
We keep your data while your account is open. Removing a contact removes it from your lists; where it has history attached we archive it rather than destroy that history, and you can delete it outright when nothing is attached.
You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by emailing the address below. Some records we are required to keep — for example billing records — are retained for as long as the law requires.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to each person's records is enforced in the database itself, not only in the application, so one account cannot read another's data even if the interface were bypassed.
